I have just received International Standard Book Numbers (ISBN) for books I have authored ‘Effective Digital Marketing Strategy’ and ‘Designing Effective Business Plan’. I had already received ISBN for the book ‘Effective Marketing for Entrepreneurs’ sometime back.
I got a call from Satish and he said, “We are a start up and we want to develop new software which will solve problems faced by companies across different industries. How can we define our specialization?” While chatting, my friend Rima said, “I handle a large team in the multi-national company I work with. The team members get bogged down into daily work and don’t identify and work on specialization they should develop.
We conducted a session on ‘New Trends and Techniques in Teaching’ at Modern College of Education on 24 November 2017. I am an accidental teacher. In 2002 while travelling in train from Pune to Mumbai, I met Dr. George Judah, Director of the Institute from where I had done MBA. He invited me to take one guest session at the Institute, where he was working at that point of time.
It can be a brilliant proposal submitted by a consultant. It can be a wonderful project that can bring in enormous profits. It can be a mind blowing idea that can transform the way we live. All these proposals, projects and ideas can be thrown into the trashcans if they are not properly presented and explained.
Ask few service providers the question – “Is it necessary to raise your rate?”. The answers would be a mixed bag of yes and no. Fair enough. There are few consultants who haven’t touched their rate for few years in a stretch and some have constantly boosted their rates in line with their economic considerations.
When you are buying a new mobile or new computer, you look for these gadgets with specific Operating System (OS) like Windows or Android. You will not be able to use these gadgets if they did not have OS. Many businesses do not have basic system in place for running of a business smoothly.
Recently I read article ‘Making of a legend’ written by Dibeyendu Ganguly in Corporate Dossier supplement of The Economic Times. The article narrates entrepreneurial journey of Infosys founder NR Narayana Murthy.
